Quilting for Heidi next...

Zwischen andere Projekte in 2014 habe ich immer weitere Blöcke für Heidis große Quilt gepatcht. Die Freude beiderseits war riesig als ich endlich am 25.03.15 --insgesamt 197 Std. Arbeit!-- der letzte Stich nähte und wir lassen die Fotos für sich selber reden:

Between other projects sewn in 2014 I managed to piece more and more blocks for Heidi´s huge quilt. Both of us were overjoyed when I finally sewed the last stitches --after a total of 197 hours of work!-- on 25MAR15 and we´ll let the pictures speak for themselves on this one:

Hier ist Heidis Quilt zu Hause. :o) / Heidi´s quilt at home.

Dann 2-3 Tage Nähzeit für meine Kinder geklaut (ein Kissenbezug und Schrank-Gardine für die Küche meiner Tochter, vergessen beide zu fotografieren...) bevor ich in April für Heidi weiter nähte:
Then I stole 2-3 days to sew a pillow case for my son and a curtain for my daughter´s kitchen (both of which I forgot to photograph...) before continuing with Heidi´s sewing in April:

Rechts ist die alte und Links die neue, ca. 46 x 49 cm // The older seat cover is on the right and the new one on the left, about 18 x 19 inches  

...und das ist der Stuhl zu Hause bei Hidi! :o)

Darf nicht wandern, warte geduldig auf Handwerker....und zeige ein paar weitere Bilder.
Ich habe mehrere Taschen vor Weihnachten *schnell* genäht und vergessen, Fotos zu machen bevor sie weg waren aber hier kann ich mindestens ein paar zeigen (die, alle bis auf eins, inzwischen Besitzerinnen haben :o)):

Can´t wander, must patiently wait by the door for our friendly repairman....and post a few more pictures.
I got to sewing several bags before last Christmas and forgot to photograph at least a handful before they *went* but I have at least a few pics of some large bags (which, excepting all but one, have new owners by now! :o)):

Gleich nach Weihnachten habe ich gekämpft, Miekos riesige Quilttop bis 7.1.15 zu quilten und hab´s gerade noch geschafft--viel markiert (mit Frixionstifte) und auf mein kleiner Pfaff mit Farbverlaufgarn freigequiltet:

Right after Christmas I had to get right into quilting Mieko´s huge quilt top in order to finish it by 07JAN15, which I barely managed! There was a lot of marking (with Pilot Frixion pens) and I free-motion quilted it with variegated thread on my trusty little Pfaff:

Schnell noch 2 bestellte Umhängetaschen, dann ein Quilt für 4-Jährige Madison gemacht, und ein Tassenteppich zum Tauschen--aber wieder Fotos vergessen.... was ich aber zeigen kann:

Made a couple of purses ordered, and then made a quilt for an adorable little girl, 4-year-old Madison.....if only I had remembered to take pictures.... but I can show you:

The beautiful flower pattern is from Esther Aliu (Thank you Esther! The link to her blog is above, right bar),
and  quilt is stretched on a canvas frame.

And then..........I broke my finger. Didn´t do much sewing for a while--that is, except for a present I just had to give a try making. :o)
